In recent years, as an expert in the corporate environment and by observing the legislation in Germany and the EU, but also international tax law, I have recognized unique opportunities in the corporate environment, but also perceived restrictions early on, or many that are to be implemented in the near future, where legislation has already been passed. Through this information advantage and the broad background of experience, I can now help companies to align their corporate strategy according to the requirements of this new time or to open up new international business areas, also based on my very good network in India and Paraguay with unique opportunities in both countries, especially companies that need to optimize their processes in this time of change in order to make the transition and also want to take advantage of the opportunities of this new time internationally.

Lifelong learning and development: Growing up in the countryside in Lower Saxony, I was drawn to the wide world. After studying economics, I gained experience as a controller, finance manager, tax expert, management consultant and coach in medium-sized and large companies with more than 20 years of management experience and have experience with change processes, software implementation and company development.

When there were no more challenges for me on the ground, I moved on to the next challenge. From 2020 to early 2024, I have developed various investment models in Paraguay, taking into account the current political, economic and fiscal conditions. Times of upheaval also offer unique opportunities!

Many Germans have emigrated to Paraguay in recent years. Some German experts and entrepreneurs would like to set up a cooperative there, a form of company that is very common there. From 2025, even privately held fund assets with an acquisition cost of €500 thousand or more will be subject to exit taxation in Germany. A few years ago, the requirements for foreign investments were tightened in the new Investment Act. My conclusion at the time was that if investors are known before the project begins, e.g. as members of a cooperative, then the Investment Act does not apply. Everyone is investing in Paraguay now.
